JVC PC-5 L - Mechanical Parts (PC-D5) Removal

Removal of Mechanical Parts (PC-D5)
Refer to mechanical component parts on page 48.
Remove in the following sequence.
1.
Rec/PB Head (4)
1) Remove 2 screws ( (28) SPSX2010N).
2) Unsolder the head wires.
Erase Head
1) Remove 2 screws ( (29) SPSX2008N)
2} Unsolder the head wires.
. Cassette plate.
Remove @ positions (in fig. 32) on the mold
chassis, arid then remove position on the chassis.
. Pinch roller arm ass’ (79)
Remove an E ring 413) and pinch roller arm ass’y.
. Tape counter
Remove 2 screws (G25 SPSP2004Z) and the counter
belt 67)
. Capstan motor
1) To_remove the rubber stopper , remove a screw
( (26) SPSP2603Z).
2) Remove the capstan belt .
To remove the motor, turn it in counterclockwise
direction and pull it out backward.
Leaf switch
Remove the cassette plate.
Remove a screw (18) fastening the leaf switch.
Take up reel disk (4)
1) Remove the cassette plate
Remove the counter belt :
2) Remove the reel stopper (J) ;
Supply reel disk © .
Remove the reel stopper ®M .
When reassembly the reel disk, insert the reel disk,
pushing the brake lever forward, and the stopper need
a new part. (the stopper can not use again.)
. Music scanning P.W. Board.
Remove 2 screws (
off the music scanning P.W.B. from the flywheel
holder.
LPSP2606Z), and then pull.
