B. Operation on house current AC
1, Set the line voltage selector switch to 240V,
220V or 110V according to your local voltage.
2. Connect the AC power cord.
Cautions:
1. The batteries cannot be used while the power
cord is connected or if the external DC jack is
being used.
2. Be sure to employ the provided or specified
power cord in order to prevent mishaps or
damage due to different types of plugs.
3. After use, be sure to: unplug the AC power cord
from the household AC outlet, since the main
switch does not disconnect this unit from the
AC supply (the mains) when all its controls are
switched off.

colours

not
correspond
with

terminal
identifications
of

connect
as
follows:

B. Fonctionnement sur le secteur alternatif
1. Régler le sélecteur de tension d’alimentation en position
de 240V, 220V ou 110V, en fonction de la tension de
secteur locale.

2. S‘assurer d’employer le cordon d‘alimentation fourni
avec cet appareil ou un cordon du type spécifié afin

3. Aprés utilisation, s’assurer de déconnecter de la prise
murale le cordon d’alimentation secteur, étant donné
que I’interrupteur général ne coupe pas le magnétophone
du secteur méme lorsque toutes les commandes sont sur

C. Operation on a car battery
Connect the external DC jack (DC 15V) to a
car’s Cigerette lighter socket using a car adaptor.
For details, see the adaptor’s instruction manual.
When employing a car battery, be sure to use the
specified
car
adaptor
to
prevent
mishaps
or
damage
resulting from different polarity design.
Caution:
The
external
DC
jack
is
not
secured
by
a
fuse
in
the
set.
For
that
season
the
AC
adaptor
used
must
have
such
a
fuse.
D. Switching off the power
To switch off the power, set the FUNCTION
STAND-BY switch to OFF/SLEEP and press the
STOP/EJECT button to stop the tape.
C. Durch Autobatterie
Die externe Gleichspannungsbuchse (DC 15V) unter
Verwendung eines Autoadapters an den Zigarettenanzunder
im Auto anschlieBen. Entnehmen Sie die Einzetheiten dazu
der Bedienungsanleitung fiir den Autoadapter.
Wenn Sie eine Autobatterie benutzen, verwenden Sie nur
den vorgeschriebenen Autoadapter, um Gefahren oder
Beschaédigungen durch unterschiedliche Polaritaten zu
vermeiden.
Achtung: Die externe Gleichspannungsbuchse ist nicht
durch eine Sicherung im Gerat abgesichert. Daher mu& der
Netzadapter mit einer Sicherung ausgeristet sein.
D. Ausschalten des Gerats
Zum Ausschalten des Gerats stellen Sie den FUNCTION
STAND-BY-Schalter auf OFF/SLEEP und driicken den
Stop/Auswurf-Knopf (STOP/EJECT) zum Bandstopp.
C. Fonctionnement sur batterie de voiture
Raccordez /a prise d’alimentation extérieure en courant
continu (DC 15V) 4 la prise de I’allume-cigare du véhicule
en utilisant un adaptateur pour batterie automobile. Pour
de plus amples détails, se reporter au mode d’emploi de
ladaptateur.
Quant a I’emploi d’une batterie automobile, s’assurer
d‘utiliser l’'adaptateur automobile spécifié afin d’éviter des
déformations ou autres dommages de fa prise résultant
d‘une différence de conception de polarités.
Attention: La prise externe CC n’est par protégée par un
fusible dans cet appareil. Pour cette raison, un adapteur CA
possédant un fusible doit étre utilisé.
D. Mise hors service
Pour mettre l'appareil hors service, réglez l’interrupteur
FUNCTION STAND-BY sur la position OFF/SLEEP et
appuyez sur la touche d‘arrét/éjection (STOP/EJECT)
pour arréter le défilement de la bande.
