@ POWER (ON/STANDBY)
Press this button to turn the power ON. Press again to turn the
power off and activate the STANDBY mode. The STANDBY indi-
cator will light.
A smatl amount of power (5 watts) is consumed in the STAND-
BY mode. To turn the power off completely, disconnect the power
cord from the wall outlet, Preset data is retained in memory while
the power cord is plugged into the wall outlet. Hf the power cord
is disconnected or a power failure occurs, data is retained for two
or three days.

Turns speakers 1 and 2 ON or OFF.

Turns LOUDNESS ON or OFF. The ON position makes up for loss
of the human auditory sensation when the sound volume is low

Adjust the volume balance between the left and right speakers.

Use the following keys to playback with surround scund effect
SURROUND: Turns the surround sound effect ON/OFF,
MODE: Selects the surround mode
CENTER MODE:* Selects the center chanriel mode.
TEST: Turns the test tone ON/OFF.
REAR LEVEL:* Sets the output level of the REAR
SPEAKERS.
CENTER LEVEL: Sets the output level of the CENTER
SPEAKER.
DELAY TIME: Sets the delay time for the REAR
SPEAKERS
* Use these keys when in the Dolby Pro-Logic Surround or Dolby
3ch Logic mode. They are not functional in HALL or STADIUM
mode.
