      If the STANDBY lamp lights up after you turn on the power and the JVC Stereo Receiver turns off again (into standby mode), it could be due to: 1. Speakers overloaded because of high volume: Press STANDBY/ON on the front panel to turn off the receiver, stop the playback source, turn it on again, and adjust the volume. 2. Speakers overloaded because of a short circuit of speaker terminals: Press STANDBY/ON to turn off the receiver, then check the speaker wiring. If “OVERLOAD” does not disappear, unplug the AC power cord, then plug it back again. If speaker wiring is not short-circuited, contact your dealer. 3. The receiver overloaded because of a high voltage: Press STANDBY/ON to turn off the receiver. After unplugging the AC power cord, consult your dealer.
