      Desiree DavisJul 31, 2025
If your remote control is not working, first ensure that the ZONE 1/ZONE 2 selector is set correctly. What to do if JVC Receiver display shows flashing “OVERLOAD”?
    • B
      Brian CarrollAug 5, 2025
If “OVERLOAD” starts flashing on the display, it indicates that the speakers are overloaded either due to high volume in Zone 1 or Zone 2, or due to a short circuit in the speaker terminals. First, turn off the receiver by pressing STANDBY/ON on the front panel and stop the playback source. Then, turn the receiver back on and adjust the volume. If the issue persists, turn off the receiver, check the speaker wiring for short circuits. If “OVERLOAD” does not disappear, unplug the AC power cord, then plug it back again. If speaker wiring is not short-circuited, contact your dealer.

    • M

If you are experiencing continuous hissing or buzzing during FM reception, it could be due to several factors. The incoming signal might be too weak, in which case you should connect an outdoor FM antenna or contact your dealer. The station might be too far away, so try selecting a new station. Ensure you are using the correct antenna; check with your dealer to confirm. Also, verify that all antenna connections are properly connected.
