Wake
Up
Timer
With
this
timer
you
can
wake
up
to
music
from
a
CD,
tape
or
your
favorite
radio
program.
+
The
Wake
Up
Timer
can
only
be
set
when
the
Unit
is
turned
off.
Press
the
WAKE
UP/SLEEP
button
with
the
XT-G70RBK
off.
The
WAKE
UP
indicator
starts
blinking
on
the
display
.
Each
time
you
press
the
WAKE
UP/SLEEP
button
while
the
WAKE
UP
indicator
is
blinking,
it
changes
the
time
shown
on
the
display
in
the
sequence
shown
below.

After
selecting
the
time,
wait
about
5
seconds,
and
the
XT-G70RBK
memorizes
your
setting.

The
WAKE
UP
indicator
remains
lit
on
the
display
to
let
you
know
that
the
Wake
Up
Timer
is
set.
To
check
the
time
remaining
unti!
the
Unit
turns
on
Press
the
WAKE
UP/SLEEP
button
once.
The
remaining
time
is
displayed
for
5
seconds.
To
change
the
set
time
Press
the
WAKE
UP/SLEEP
button
repeatedly.
To
cancel
the
Wake
Up
Timer
setting
Press
the
WAKE
UP/SLEEP
button
repeatedly
so
that
the
WAKE
UP
indicator
disappears
from
the
display.
Hints
for
using
your
Wake
Up
Timer
+
When
the
set
time
comes
you
will
hear
the
most
recently
used
source.
¢
The
volume
when
the
timer
turns
on
the
source
is
the
volume
last
set
when
the
XT-G70RBK
was
used.
This
can
be
quite
a
surprise
first
thing
in
the
morning,
so
you
might
want
to
reset
it
before
going
to
sleep.
+
If
the
CD
is
the
most
recently
used
source,
it
starts
playing
from
the
first
track.
Sleep
Timer
Using
this
timer,
you
can
fall
asleep
to
music
and
know
your
XT-G70RBK
will
turn
off
by
itself
rather
than
play
all
night.
+
Sleep
timer
can
be
set
only
when
the
Unit
is
turned
on.
Press
the
WAKE
UP/
SLEEP
button
with
the
XT-G70RBK
on
and
a
source
playing,.
The
SLEEP
indicator
start
blinking
on
the
display.
Each
time
you
press
the
WAKE
UP/SLEEP
button
while
the
SLEEP
indicator
is
blinking,
the
shut-off
time
shown
on
the
display
changes
as
shown
below.

The
Unit
will
now

you

To
check
the
time

Priority
Setting
multiple
timers within
the
same
time
range
will
make
actual
operation
complicated,
For
instance,
while
the
Recording
Timer
may
be
set
to
record
a
program
from
8:00
AM
to
9:00
AM,
the
Daily
Timer
may
be
set
to
play
a
CD
at
8:30
AM
.
So
will
it
interrupt
the
radio
recording,
or
will
it
just
not
come
on,
since
Recording
Timer
is
already
on?
A)
Ifthe
Recording,
Once,
and
Daily
Timers
are
set
within
the
same
time
range,
each
§
Timer
setting
timer
will
come
on
at
the
time
you
have
set.
If
another
timer
is
already
on,
that
timer
ONCE
will
be
shut
off
when
the
second
timer
starts.
So
if
you
are
recording
a
radio
DAILY
broadcast
with
the
Recording
Timer
and
the
Once
Timer
is
set
to
start
a
different
station
playing
during
the
recording,
you
will
Jose
the
recording
at
that
point,
