Stencil Pro was specifically designed to provide a complete toolbox for processing of your
scan data, taking you from a collection of points to an accurate and visually stunning 3D
dataset. In a modular fashion, your processing workflow can be customized, saved, and
reviewed through the user interface. Tasks for georeferencing, point cloud filtering,
conversion to an LAS file, and stitching of panoramas produces output applicable to many
field applications and use cases.
Processing Sequence: Though highly customizable, there is a recommended
sequence for processing data on Stencil Pro for optimal results. For example,
GNSS Correct should be performed prior to Align to retrieve the necessary
information required for correcting the trajectory with GNSS data. Pre-Filter
should also be completed prior to Filtering, as it performs calculations on the
data that will be removed in the subsequent Filter step. For this reason,
tasks are described in the following sections in their suggested order of
processing.
