6.2.6 Wireless components

Details of wireless components connected to the secure wireless network.
The overview displays some information about the components:
Name
A name chosen by the user for a wireless component, can also be assigned
[}6.2.6.1] via the service interface.
Wireless MAC address
The wireless MAC address (EUI-64) is a unique hardware address for a wireless net-
work adapter.
Wireless address
The unique network address within a wireless network.
GUID address
The GUID address (Global Unique Identifier) is a generated identifier for unique iden-
tification in a wireless system.
Signal (RSSI)
The RSSI value (Received Signal Strength Indicator) is the signal strength at which the
wireless gateway receives data packages from a wireless component.
The gateway displays the values correctly if wireless components are directly con-
nected with the gateway. If a wireless component is connected with the gateway via
a wireless extender, then the RSSI value of this wireless component indicates the sig-
nal strength of the wireless extender.
