. Grounding the housing
DANGER
Dangerous voltage due to two operating voltages!
Severe injuries or death may occur if the cables and terminals in the device are touched.
The discharge time of the capacitors is up to minutes.
› Only appropriately qualied and authorised electricians may open and maintain the inverter.
› Before opening the unit: Disconnect the PV generator and grid and wait at least minutes.
› Establish ground connection under all circumstances before connecting the supply circuit.
› Make sure that the device is isolated from the public power supply and the system power supply
before starting work.
An optional grounding of the housing is possible at the grounding point provided for that purpose in the connec-
tion area of the inverter. Please observe any national installation regulations in this regard.

Grounding the housing
. Detach cable tting for grounding the housing.
. Remove the outer cladding from the grounding cable.
. Insert the grounding cable through the cable tting into the connection area.
. Remove the insulation from the grounding cable.
. Furnish the stripped cable with an M ring cable lug.
. Screw the ring cable lug to the grounding point with an M/TX screw.
. Check that the cable is secure.
» Tighten the cable tting.
. Connecting the interfaces
All interfaces are located on the connection circuit board behind the cover for the connection area. Use the cable
ttings and plug connections provided (see Figure on page ).
CAUTION
Damage to the unit from electrostatic discharge
Components inside the unit can be damaged beyond repair by static discharge.
" Note the ESD protective measures.
" Earth yourself before touching a component by touching a grounded object.
