5 M-Bus ddressing
Primry, secondry nd enhnced secondry ddressing re supported. The mster’s integrted collision detector enbles wild
crd serch for meters in connection with secondry nd enhnced secondry ddressing.
Using wild crd serch, one or severl of the digits of the meter’s ddress re replced by wild crds when serching for
meters.
5.1 Primry ddressing
(001-250)
Ech meter must hve  unique primry ddress between 001 nd 250. If more thn one meter hve the sme ddress, 
collision will occur nd the meters cnnot be red.
Kmstrup M-Bus modules utomticlly use the lst 2-3 digits of the customer number s their primry ddresses.
5.2 Secondry ddressing
(00000001-99999999)
Secondry ddressing uses the lst 8 digits of the meter number s M-Bus ID.
Kmstrup MULTICAL® meters use the customer number s their secondry ddresses, which mkes it possible to chnge the
secondry ddress.
5.3 Enhnced secondry ddressing
(00000001-99999999)/(00000001-99999999)
The meter’s seril number is used for enhnced secondry ddressing. A meter’s seril number is unique nd cnnot be
chnged fter production.
