Loction

Shows where you re in  menu list,  meter list or  meter dt list. Alterntively, it displys detils of n ongoing

function, e.g. secondry scnning t 2400 bud.

Sttus

Indictes the sttus of the screen in question (refers to Title). It cn, for exmple, indicte the number of slves found

during scnning.

Notiﬁer

Displys informtion on  recent event. It could, for exmple, be the number of  meter found during scnning.

Notiﬁer cn lso be  shortcut key, e.g.  meter reding cn be strted using the right-hnd function key.

7.4 Menu overview

The top menu shows time nd dte,

the conﬁgurtion of the mster s

mster or repeter, nd the number

of unit lods with which the meters

lod the mster. Typiclly the lod of

one meter is 1 unit lod.

If PIN code protection is on, 

pdlock is displyed.

The min menu shows the different

menus vilble in the mster.

7.5 Meter serch by mens of MultiPort 250D

Crrying out  meter serch (scnning) by mens of the mster, you cn choose primry or secondry scnning.

Avilble communiction speeds re 300, 2400 or 9600 bud, nd scnning cn be crried out t ll three speeds.

It ppers from the top of the mster’s disply whether scnning hs been effected with primry or secondry

ddressing, nd lso the selected speed is displyed.

At the bottom of the disply, the number of meters found s well s the number of the lst meter found is shown.
