6 M-Bus communiction
M-Bus communiction is hlf duplex llowing two-wy communiction with one M-Bus slve t  time.
The mster’s integrted port controller mkes sure tht communiction is only possible on one seril port t  time.

M-Bus Mster MultiPort 250D supports the following communiction speeds:
• 300 bud 8E1
• 2400 bud 8E1
• 9600 bud 8E1 (not vi GPRS)
6.2 Trnsprent reding
MultiPort 250D is equipped with the following communiction possibilities for reding from e.g. remote reding
systems, control systems nd vrious controllers with M-Bus interfce:
• USB
• RS-232
• RS-485
• Opticl eye
• GSM/GPRS (optionl equipment).
Communiction through the bove-mentioned ports is trnsprent nd includes collision detection.
