B.5.2 Monitoring
This washing system must be examined for its safe
operation before being taken into operation for the first
time and thereafter at least half-yearly by a competent
person.
This examination includes in particular:
n a visual examination for outwardly recognisable signs
of wear or damage
n a functional examination
n completeness and effectiveness of safety features in
connection with:
Self-service systems Monitored systems
daily
before start of operations
as required
at least once a month
B.6 Use original parts
Use exclusively manufacturer’s original parts or those
recommended by him. Observe all safety instructions and
instructions for use which are provided with these parts.
This concerns:
n replacement parts and parts subject to wear
n accessory parts
n working materials
n cleaning agents.
