2. Instructions for use and maintenance instructions
2.1 Preparation
The hot water cleaner is moved either using a truck connected directly to a pallet on which the unit is
secured or by attaching a crane lift in 4 lifting lugs. See section 4.1).
The weight of each model may vary between 135 and 190 kg without water.
Never lift the unit more than 0.5 m and never above persons. Connect power and water once the unit
is standing on a stable and level floor.
Make sure that personal protective equipment
is within easy reach. We recommend that pro-
tective clothing, goggles, gloves and safety
footwear are used whenever the hot water
cleaner is operated.
This unit has been factory tested and test operated, but transit may necessitate in the unit requiring fine
adjustment and a visual check of all functions. Always check for loose power wires, screws and defective
joints.
Always ensure work is conducted in accordance with good ergonomic principles and schedule breaks
during extensive and lengthy work tasks. Avoid overstressing your back and arms, and organise the
working day in consultation with management. Organise variations or adequate breaks in order to avoid
unilateral loads.
Check the oil level in the pump inspection window.
Check to see if it is possible to connect the correct mains voltage.
Check that the water filter is free from dirt.
Refill diesel in the tank (holds max. 20 litres) and, if necessary, fit any missing side walls.
Connect the water supply to the hot water cleaner using a ¾" web-reinforced hose. Use tap water or
"reject water" (purified waste water), if this is available.
