U. Anti-Tips (Continued)
How to Rotate Swing Away Anti-Tips
1. Push down on the anti-tip knob (Fig. 27:A).
2. Swing the anti-tip towards the inside of the chair.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 on the opposite side.
How to Adjust the Height of the Wheel Extension (Fig. 28)
TThe anti-tip tube wheels may have to be raised or lowered to achieve proper clearance off the
ground and proper stability if the wheelchair tips over backward.
1. Press the anti-tip wheel release pin so the release pin is drawn inside.
2. Raise or lower to any of the predrilled holes.
3. Release the pin.
4. Adjust the second anti-tip tube wheel the same way. Both the wheels should be at exactly
the same height.
