ance Assist settings
Parking Safety
With the engine on, select or deselect
'Driver Assistance → Parking Safety'
from the Settings menu to set whether
or not to use each function.
僅 If 'Rear Active Assist' is selected, the
function will be in the ready status.
The function will warn the driver and
assist with braking when a collision
with a pedestrian or an object is immi
-
nent.
僅 If 'Rear Warning Only' (or 'Rear warn
-
ing only') is selected, the function will
warn the driver when a collision with a
pedestrian or an object is imminent.
Braking will not be assisted.
僅 If 'Off' is selected, the function will
turn off.
僅 Press the Parking Safety ( ) button
for 2 seconds and more to set
whether or not to use 'Rear Active
Assist' or 'Rear Warning Only'.
Warning Timing
With the engine on, select 'Driver Assis

tance → Warning Timing' from the Set

tings menu to change the initial warning
activation time for Reverse Parking Colli
-
sion-Avoidance Assist.
If 'Normal' is selected, the Warning Tim
-
ing is set to Normal. If 'Normal' feels sen
-
sitive, change the settings to 'Late'.
If you change the Warning Timing, the
warning time of other Driver Assistance
systems may change.
