Slide alarm from back-plate.
Insert 2 x replacement ‘AA’ batteries
(noting polarity – see sketch)
Replace back-plate and test the alarm
Replace battery
NOTE: Do not use Lithium batteries in this unit.
These batteries can be purchased from your local retailer.
WARNING! Alarm will not attach to back-plate unless batteries are installed. Depleted or removed
batteries will render this alarm inoperative.
Chirping:
When End of Unit Life or Low Battery chirping begins, you can temporarily silence these chirps by
pressing the test button. See Troubleshooting Guide.
