Battery (Non-Replaceable)
This alarm contains a sealed 3V Lithium battery, which will last
the life of the alarm. If any form of battery failure is detected,
the red LED light will flash and the unit will "chirp" once every
60 seconds. Also, the green LED will flash twice a second to help
locate the chirping unit (AC power only). This cycle will continue
for at least seven days. Replace alarm immediately!
THE UNIT MUST BE DEACTIVATED (see “Deactivation of
Alarm section) and replaced within 7 days of the first
occurrence of the “Low Battery Warning to provide
continuous alarm protection.
If the red LED light flashes along with a chirp every 30
seconds, and if the green LED flashes twice per second (AC
power only) your unit has malfunctioned.
