Engine warm start
1. Place the saw where it does not come into contact with any objects.
2. Engage the chain brake.
3. Set stop switch (12) to I (Fig. 25).
4. Pull out the choke knob (7) fully and then press in back in fully (Fig. 26).

Hold the product securely to the ground. Place your left hand on the front handle (5)
and additionally secure it with your right foot (Fig. 24).

Pull the recoil starter handle (15) briskly and strongly. Repeat until the engine starts.
7. Squeeze the throttle trigger lock-out (9) and throttle trigger (11) and release them.
8.
Push the front hand guard (4) to check if the chain brake works properly. Then
disengage the chain brake.

To start cutting, grip the product with both hands, left hand holding the front handle (5)
(do not hold the front hand guard) and the right hand holding the rear handle (10).
After starting the engine
1. Leave the engine running at idling speed for a while.
2. Slowly press down on the throttle trigger (11) to increase the engine speed.
The clutch will be released when the engine speed is high enough, and the saw chain (3)
will start to rotate.
3. Make sure the saw chain is sufciently lubricated.
4. Check if the saw chain stops rotating when you release the throttle trigger.
Stopping the engine
1. Release the throttle trigger (11) and let the product run in idle for a while.
2. Engage the chain brake.
3. Set stop switch (12) to O.
WARNING! The product continues to work for some time even after the engine
has been stopped! Wait until it comes to a complete stop before you put the
product down!
