PARKING BRAKE LEVER
To stop the tractor, depress the brake
pedal and pull the lever up to apply
the parking brake.
The parking bake is automatically
released by depressing and then re-
leasing the brake pedal.
If the vehicle is driven with the
parking brake partially or com-
pletely engaged, it may cause
early wear of the brake disc.

FRONT WHEEL DRIVE LEVER
(1) Front Wheel Drive Lever (4WD)
(A) “ON” (B) “OFF”
Using the 4WD is the best way to
increase the vehicle traction. Pull the
4WD lever down to engage, push to
disengage.
The 4WD function can be used un-
der the following conditions:
1. If high traction is needed in a hu-
mid area.
2. When towing a trailer or using a
loader.
3. When working on a sandy surface.
To avoid accident:
Engage only when the vehicle
is stationary.
While the 4WD is engaged, drive
the vehicle with low speed as
steering and braking character-
istics may differ.
The 4WD should not be used
on a paved road as tires can be
worn faster.

4. When the tractor is pushed out by
reaction from the implement during
cultivating on a hard surface.
5.When cultivating a eld or driving
over a bank.
Be sure to full stop the tractor before
engaging or disengaging the 4WD.
