To strain fruits and vegetables:
• Cut into pieces that will t into hopper.
• Remove tough, thick skin or rind, such as oranges.
• Remove all large pits from fruits and vegetables such as peaches.
• Remove hulls or stems, such as strawberries or grapes.
• Cook all tough or rm fruits and vegetables before straining.
NOTE: To avoid damage to the Fruit and Vegetable Strainer attachment and/or the Stand
Mixer, Labruscan or slip-skin type grapes such as Concord, Catawba, and Ontario grapes
should not be processed in the Fruit and Vegetable Strainer. Only Ninifera family grapes
such as Tokay and Thompson Seedless may be processed.
