COMPONENT ACCESS
REMOVING THE OVEN SENSOR
REMOVING THE BROIL ELEMENT.
At the front of the broil element is a broil guard
mounted with two screws. Remove the guard
(the front of the element will drop down a few
inches).
From the back of the oven, remove two broil
element mounng screws.
Pull the element into the oven to get the wiring
harness connecons to enter the oven from the
back.
Remove the electrical connecons but make sure
the harness does not exit the oven cavity.
The Broil Element will need to be removed to
access the Sensor mounng bracket.
Remove the screw mounng the oven sensor and
pull the sensor into the oven far enough that
the sensor quick disconnect plug enters the
oven cavity.
Remove the electrical connecon but make sure
the connector does not exit the oven cavity.
REMOVING THE CONVECTION ELEMENT
Remove the convecon cover at the back of the
oven cavity by removing two mounng screws
at the top of the cover and releasing the cover
from two tabs at the boom.
Locate and remove one convecon element
mounng screw and release from a mounng
tab at the top of the element.
Pull the element into the oven far enough that
the element terminals enter the oven cavity.
Remove the electrical connecons but make sure
the harness does not exit the oven cavity.
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
