Place the material to be split
on the splitter. Always press
the lever arms in the direction
of the material to be split.
Once it begins to split and
the cleaver blade penetrates
into the wood, guide the lever
arms back to the outside,
while they are still pressed
down, so that the material to
be split is free.
Before starting up the machine, familiarise yourself with
the two-hand-lever operation! Read the operating instruc-
tions carefully.

Be careful when working with the log splitter: risk of •
injury to fingers and hands from the cleaver.
Use appropriate supports, when cleaving heavy or •
bulky logs.
Conversion, adjustment, cleaning, maintenance work •
and repairs of fault may be carried out only when the
motor is switched off.
Unplug the machine from the mains supply!
Installation, repair and maintenance work on the elec-•
trical system may only be performed by specialists.
All protective and safety devices must be immediately •
replaced after repair and maintenance work.
Switch the motor off when leaving the work area. • Un-
plug the machine from the mains supply!
