TypeB-0toB-4actuatorscanbemanuallyopenedorclosedbyturninganoperatingdevicesuchasaspanner
wrenchorleverhandleproperlyfittedtothetopoftheshaft(Fig.14).Turntheshaftclockwisetoclosethe
valveandcounterclockwisetoopenthevalve. 










 BeforeenergizingTypeBactuators,makesuretoremovethespannerwrenchorlever
handle used for manual operation. Starting the operation without removing such a
manualoperatingdeviceisextremelydangerous




● Beforeoperating a Type B actuator manually,open the pressure equalizing valve to
dischargetheresidualairfromtheactuatorhousingtotheatmosphere.Residualairwill
disturbthemanualoperationoftheactuator.
● EnsuretosecurelyfittheoperatingdevicetothetopoftheshaftofTypeBactuator
formanualoperation.

Manualoperationwitha spanner wrench or a lever handle is not availablefor Type B-5 to B-7 actuators.
Pleaseorderanactuatorwithmanualoperationunitifyouneedmanualoperationfortheseactuators.

