COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION
Notes on using the induction hob and ceramic radiant hob
Do not place food directly onto hob surface – always cook with a pot.
Do not arbitrarily leave oil or oiled foods on the hob surface, since oil could be
overheated and produce re. If re is caused by oil, do not put off re by pouring
water onto it. Place a lid to cover the re and switch off the power.
The hob surface may be damaged by dropping of hard and sharp objects. Keep
hard and sharp objects at proper places.
Never put hot cookware on top of the control panel.
Examine the bottom of pot before using. The bottom of pot should not be rough or
else is scratch the hob surface.
Touch controls
The controls respond to touch, so you don‘t need to apply any pressure.
Use the ball of your nger, not its tip.
You will hear a beep each time a touch is registered.
Make sure the controls are always clean, dry, and that there is no object (e.g. a
utensil or a cloth) covering them. Even a thin lm of water may make the controls
difcult to operate.
Switch on induction hob
Note: Before using the induction and ceramic radiant hob, put a cookware made of
ferromagnetic metal onto the hob surface or any at bottom cookware on the radiant
hob.
