Ensure that the proximity switch is properly installed and secured prior to starting
the machine. Failure to tighten the two hold down screws on each switch will
result in the spray of hydraulic oil.
Optical Relay Maintenance
The four optical relays identified in Table 8-3 change the state of the associated solenoid valves.
If the relay or the fuse for the relay fails, the state will not change. For example, if the relay
controlling the two-pressure solenoid valve fails, the machine will not switch between low and
high pressure operation.
