Operating instructions
1 Safety instructions
Electrical devices may only be mounted and connected by electrically skilled persons.
Serious injuries, fire or property damage possible. Please read and follow manual fully.
Danger of electric shock. Always disconnect before carrying out work on the device or load.
Danger of electric shock. Device is not suitable for disconnection from supply voltage. The load
is not electrically isolated from the mains even when the output is switched off.
Risk of destruction of the dimmer and load if the set operating mode and load type do not
match. Set the correct dimming principle before connecting or exchanging the load.
Fire hazard. For operation with inductive transformers, each transformer must be fused on the
primary side in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Only safety transformers ac-
cording to EN 61558-2-6 may be used.
These instructions are an integral part of the product, and must remain with the end customer.
The connected load and dimmer quality on LED lamps are dependent on the type of lamp
and installation conditions. The connected load of the specified values could vary. We
cannot assume any guarantee for proper function, dimming results and dimming quality.

Why does KNX Security Sensors light switch off early despite motion detection and low lighting?
    • T
      Tabitha WellsSep 12, 2025
This problem may happen if the set time is too short. To resolve this, increase the time with the remote control or parameter setting. It could also be a detection problem, where the surface to be monitored is not in the detection field, or furniture or pillars are obstructing the view. In this case, check the detection field and extend the presence detector extension if necessary.

Why does my KNX Security Sensors light not switch on or switches on too late despite motion in the detection field?
    • E
      Emily GrossSep 14, 2025
This issue can occur if the device is set for alert operation and does not evaluate the first motion impulse detected. To resolve this, check the programming and set and program the device as a motion detector. Alternatively, the evaluation delay may be activated, preventing brief entries into the detection field from being evaluated. If so, correct the programming, and shorten or deactivate the evaluation delay.

What to do if KNX Security Sensors light switches off briefly and then on again immediately?
    • K
      Kelly WilliamsSep 16, 2025
This issue can occur if there are luminaires in the detection field. Set the configuration barrier parameter so that cooling light bulbs are not detected. Alternatively, the brightness threshold set may not be reached after switching off. In this case, increase the brightness threshold.

What to do if the KNX Controller output has switched off?
    • C
      Cynthia ManningNov 18, 2025
If the KNX Controller output has switched off, it could be due to several reasons: * Overheating protection: Disconnect the output from mains and switch off associated circuit breakers. If you are using HV-LED trailing edge phase control, reduce the connected load and consider exchanging the lamps. If you are using HV-LED leading edge phase control, reduce the connected load, check the operation in the "HV-LED trailing edge phase control" setting and consider exchanging the lamps. Allow the device to cool down for at least 15 minutes and ensure proper cooling by providing distance from surrounding devices. * Surge protection: If you are using HV-LED trailing edge phase control, check the operation in the "HV-LED leading edge phase control" setting and reduce the connected load. You ma...
