Using the Scanner
Touch Screen
Status area The scanner touch screen displays the current state of the scanner.
1 - Document count
2 - Paper Present indicator, (if no paper is detected, this icon is
displayed.)
3 - Scanner is connected to a computer via USB.
4 - Scanner is connected to the Wired Network.
Touch screen buttons The S2000f/S3000 and Max Series scanners include a touch screen with color
graphic display of scanner information and controls. To navigate the screen,
touch a selection or a button.
The menu button leads to the main menu.
The Next button advances to the next screen.
The Back button returns the display to the previous screen.
The pause button suspends scanning.
The start/resume button resumes scanning.
The stop button ends scanning activity.
This icon beside a menu option means you have a choice of “on” or
“off” for the option. The colored icon means “on” and the gray icon means “off.”
