Although
the
Cine-Kodak
Tripod
may
be used
with
many
cameras,
it
is designed
primarily
to
provide a
support
suitable
for
the
Cine-Kodak Special and
the
exacting tasks imposed upon
it.
It
is designed
to
permit interchang-
ing
the
film chambers
without
removing
the
camera.
The
tripod head can be pan or-
amed horizontal-
ly, vertically, and
diagonally
at
any
speed,
yet
can be
locked in any po-
sition for double
exposure
and

other
work
where accurate registration is es-
sential.
The
camera can be pointed
straight
down
(Figure 38),
or
straight
up by
mounting
it
in
the
reverse position on
the
platform.
The
top
sections
of
the
legs
of
the
Cine-
Kodak
Tripod
are covered
with
a durable
material
to
match
the
Cine-Kodak Special
(Figure
39, page 42).
The
telescoping legs can be extended and then
tightened
at
any
point
by
