5. Remove the exhaust mixer’s mounting nuts. See
Figure 5-5.

6. Loosen any hose clamps.
7. Remove the exhaust mixer.
8. Loosen the front cover screws. See Figure 5-6.

9. Remove the front cover and O-ring.
10. Loosen the thermostat assembly’s mounting
screws and remove the thermostat assembly. See
Figure 5-7.
