Remove Cylinder Head
ȱȱŗǯȱ ȱȱȱ¡ȱĚȱȱȱȱ
cylinder head. See Figure 8-40.
2. Remove the cylinder head, noting the positioning
of the dowels. See Figure 8-41.

3. Remove the head gasket and discard. See Figure
8-40.
Remove Valve Assembly
1. Push down on the valve spring keepers to release
the valve springs from the valve stems. See Figure
8-42.
2. Remove the valve spring keepers and springs.
