Maintenance activities

The Diesel engine is warm, unlike in the maintenance position.

Strap wrench or similar tool is on hand.
q
A reservoir with the required capacity is ready.
q
Oil filters (2 pcs.) with seals are on hand.

Diesel engine oil is on hand. Diesel engine oil amount, see the “Fill quantities
table” chapter. Please refer to the “Lubricants and operating fluids” chapter for
the lube oil specifications.
Draining the diesel engine oil

Open oil drain shut-off valve 1.
u
Drain the oil into the container provided.
u
Close oil drain shut-off valve 1.
u
Dispose of oil (observe country-specific regulations).
