CHANGE OIL IN FINAL DRIVE CASE 4
WARNING
q The oil is at high temperature immediately after the machine has been operated. Wait for the oil to cool
down before starting the operation.
q If there is still pressure remaining inside the case, the oil or plug may fly out.
Loosen the plug slowly to release the pressure.
q Refill capacity:
D65EX : (each) 24 liters
D65PX,WX: (each) 27 liters
1. Stop the machine so that drain plug (3) is directly at the
bottom.
2. Remove oil level plug (2) and oil filler plug (1), then remove
drain plugs (3) and (4), and drain the oil.
3. After draining the oil, install drain plugs (3) and (4).
4. Add oil to the specified level through the hole in oil filler
plug (1).
5. Check that the oil is at the specified level. For details, see
“CHECK OIL LEVEL IN FINAL DRIVE CASE, ADD OIL (4-
46)“.
CLEAN BREATHER 4
1. Open cover on the right side of the machine.
2. Remove breather (1), then use clean diesel fuel or flushing
fluid to rinse the dirt out from the inside.
