24.7.2 CHANGE OIL IN TRANSMISSION CASE (INCL.
TORQUE CONVERTER CASE), CLEAN STRAINER

WARNING
The oil is at high temperature immediately after the machine
has operated. Wait for the oil to cool down before starting the
operation.
Prepare the following.
l
Container to catch drained oil: Min. 34 L? (8.98 US gal, 7.48 UK
gal) capacity
l Refill capacity: 34 J? (8.98 US gal, 7.48 UK gal)
l
Socket wrench
1. Remove the cover at the bottom of the machine, and set the
container to catch the oil under drain plugs 0 and 0.
2. Remove drain plugs @ and @ slowly to avoid getting oil on
yourself, and drain the oil. After draining the oil, tighten the drain
plugs.
3. Remove bolt 0, then remove cover @ and take out the strainer.
