12.2 STARTING ENGINE
12.2.1 NORMAL STARTING
WARNING
Check that there are no persons or obstacles in the surrounding
area, then sound the horn and start the engine.
NOTICE
Do not keep the starting motor rotating continuously for more
than 20 seconds.
If the engine will not start, wait for at least 2 minutes before try-
ing to start the engine again.
1. Set fuel control dial a at the low idling (MIN) position.
2. Turn the key in starting switch b to the START position. The engine
will start.
3. When the engine starts, release the key in starting switch b. The
key will return automatically to the ON position.
