1OpentheSetupmenu.
2OntheSetupmenu,selectInstallation.
ObservethattheInstallationdialogboxopens.Thisdialogboxcontainsanumberof
pagesselectedfromthemenuontheleftside.
3OntheleftsideoftheInstallationdialogbox,selectMotionReferenceUnit.
aIfyouusethemotionsensorintheMotorControlUnitonthehullunit,make
surethatLANisselected.
Thesensorusesalocalareanetwork(LAN)portonyourcomputer.Amessageon
thepageveriesthatitisconnectedtotheST90system’sbeamformerapplication.
bIfyouuseanexternalmotionreferenceunit(MRU),makesurethataCOMportis
selected,andthatthecorrectparametersareprovided.
4ClosetheInstallationdialogboxwithoutmakinganychanges.
5Observethetopbar.
6Makesurethattheinformationfromthesensorisdisplayed.
Ifnecessary,enabletheread-outintheDisplayOptionsdialogbox.

Inordertoreadthemotioncompensationvalues,theST90mustbe"pinging".
