There will be no harm
when a finger is put to
the contact. When the
Flash Contact is not in
use, it is advisable to pro-
tect it with its cap, which
is available as an acces-
sory.
FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY
Flash photography is recommended in taking pictures at
night or in a dark place where AEC photography is not
enabled. In daylight photography, too, flashes are recom-
mended as an auxiliary light. For flash photography, use
either an electronic flash which synchronizes with the shutter
speeds up to 1/125 sec. and is used frequently so long as an
electric source is available, or a flash bulb which must be
changed each time the picture is taken but provides a large
light volume and a synchronizable with the shutter speed up
to 1/30 second. KONICA Autoreflex T4 permits use of
either a cordless or cord type flash unit. The Cordless Flash
Contact (Hot Shoe) (19) at the upper part of the camera is an
X contact designed exclusively for cordless flashing. By
merely mounting the KONICA X-28, X-20 or X-14 Elec-
tronic Flash, electrical connection is established. With a cord
type flash unit, insert the plug into the Flash Contact (24).
1. Mount an Electronic Flash: Insert the seat of an elec-
tronic flash into the cordless Flash Contact (19). A hot shoe
electronic flash, such as the KONICA X-28, X-20 or X-14,

Wenn die Belichtungsverhältnisse für eine korrekte automati-
sche Belichtung nicht mehr ausreichen, so müssen Sie mit
einem Blitzgerät fotografieren. Ein Blitzlicht ist auch als
zusätzliche Lichtquelle bei Tageslicht-Aufnahmen oft von
Vorteil. Sie können sowohl Elektronenblitzgeräte (Blitzsyn-
chronisation bis 1/125 sec.) als auch Kolbenblitze (Blitzsyn-
chronisation bis 1/30 sec.) verwenden. Kabellose Blitzgeräte
mit Mittenkontakt werden am Blitzlichtkontakt (19) der
Camera befestigt. Blitzgeräte mit einem Synchro-Kabel
werden am X-Blitzlichtkontakt (24) angeschlossen. Im
Zubehörprogramm stehen 3 Elektronenblitzgeräte mit der
Bezeichnung KONICA X-28, X-20 und X-14 zur Verfügung.
1. Einsetzen eines Blitzgerätes mit Mittenkontakt:
Schieben Sie das Blitzgerät mit Mittenkontakt in den
Blitzlichtkontakt (19). Das Blitzgerät ist durch den Mitten-
kontakt direkt an die Synchronisation angeschlossen. Ist kein
Blitzgerät aufgesetzt, so ist der Stromkreis unterbrochen, d.h.
der Blitzkontakt kann ohne weiteres mit den Fingern berührt
werden.
