Vacation and Moving Care
Vacations
If you choose to turn the cooling unit off before you leave, follow these steps.
1. Remove all wine bottles from the room and store them in an alternate location.
2. Unplug the KoolR.
3. Clean the cooling unit. See “Cleaning.”
Moving
When you are moving your cooling unit to a new home, follow these steps to prepare it for the
move.
1. Remove all wine bottles from the cold room.
2. Unplug the cooling unit.
3. Uninstall the cooling unit.
Note:
Make sure there are no children in the area.
Use helper to remove the cooling unit from the wall. HEVY overhead weight can cause severe
injury!
3. Clean, wipe, and dry it thoroughly.
4. Take out all removable parts, wrap them well, and tape them together.
When you get to your new home, reinstall based on this manual and the attached template.
