The setting of the tailgate lock is made on both sides on the piston rod (3):
1. Remove the plastic guard on the tailgate, the tailgate must touch the beams on both sides.
2. Loosen the counter nut (2).
3. Turn the piston rod (3) until the distance between the lock hook (4) and the clamping sleeve
(1) is a = 5 mm.
4. Tighten counter nut (2).

The spring pretensioning on the tailgate lock must be a = 350 mm.
Retighten spring (1) if necessary:
• Loosen the counter nut (3).
• Turn the nut (2) until the dimension is a = 350 mm.
• Make the adjustment on both sides.
