10 Starting up again
• Wipe off the oil and grease applied as preservative to
the chains and inside the machine.
• Thoroughly degrease the machine. Hence
condensation which has possibly collected in the
bearings is removed.
• Check the oil level of the gearbox, if necessary top
up according to instructions.
• Retighten all nuts and bolts.
• Check all settings on the machine, reset if
necessary.
• Carefully read the operating manual again.
It is preferable to use plant-based oils and
greases.
