What to do if my KTM 150 EXC TPI 2021 engine overheats?
- MMatthew DominguezAug 15, 2025
If your KTM Motorcycle engine overheats, there are several possible causes. First, check the coolant level and look for leaks in the cooling system. If the coolant level is low, this could be the reason. Also, ensure there's enough airflow, and switch off the engine when stationary to prevent overheating. Clean the radiator fins if they are very dirty. Foam formation in the cooling system can also lead to overheating, so drain the coolant and refill it. Inspect the cylinder head and cylinder head gasket for any damage. Finally, a bent radiator hose can restrict coolant flow, so change the radiator hose if necessary.
