10.17Installing the front fender
700415-01
– Position the fender with holding lugs into the drill holes on the start number
plate.
700414-11
– Position the front fender. Mount and tighten screws .
Guideline
Remaining screws, chassis M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)
10.18Removing the shock absorber x
– Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. ( p. 26)

– Remove screw and lower the rear wheel with the swingarm as far as possible
without blocking the rear wheel. Fix the rear wheel in this position.
– Remove screw , push splash protector to the side, and remove the shock
absorber.
10.19Installing shock absorber x

– Push splash protector to the side and position the shock absorber. Mount and
tighten screw .
Guideline
Screw, top shock absorber M10 45 Nm
(33.2 lbf ft)
– Mount and tighten screw .
Guideline
Screw, bottom shock absorber M10 45 Nm
(33.2 lbf ft)
– Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. ( p. 26)
10.20Removing the seat

– Open quick release and raise the rear of the seat.
– Pull back the seat and remove it.
