Basic adjustments
Transport stops
Transport stops (1) limit the machine's oscillation during
transport.
Adjustment:
From the working position:
- Loosen counter-nuts ((2)).
- Fully tighten transport stops (1).
- Place the machine in transport position.
- Lift transport lock lever in transport position.
- Shift the mowing unit lift cylinder directional control
valve in float position.
- Bring stops (1) in contact with carrying frame.
- Place the machine in working position.
- Give transport stops (1) 5 preload turns.
- Tighten counter nuts (2) after adjustment.
Replacement:
Replace transport stops (1) when they are worn and no
longer act as a suspension device (Part no. 56864500)
.
Belts
Regularly check belt tension and in particular during the
first hours of use:
- Check that tensioning spring is coil bound.
- Tighten tensioning screw if necessary.
Slack belts slip which can reduce the crop ejection
quality and cause conditioning rotor clogging.
The transport stops are factory set.
Transport stop rubbers must flaten themselves
by 10 mm (0.4’’) in transport position.

Never replace belts individually. When a belt is
damaged, always replace the whole set (Part
no. 83101688).
