5.3 Initialisation of motors and axis limits
CAUTION
Risk of material damage!
Initialisation was already done during the Rework System set up and does not need to
be changed. Axle initialisation may only be carried out by trained, specialised person-
nel!
ü To initialise the motor and axle limits, and to disable the axle shutdown:
a) To do this, the [Start motor-initialization], [Initialize axis limits] and [Deactivate
"Axis limits switch off"] functions are available in the [Control] menu area.
ð [Start motor-initialization]: This button allows you to perform the initialisation
of the motor parameters for the X, Y and Z axles, as well as their rotation.
Please execute this function only if instructed to do so by Ersa personnel. The
procedure takes ca. 5 minutes. The initialization progress is indicated by the in-
dicator bar next to the button and by messages in the information window of
the work area. Then a message appears. Now power cycle the HR 600/2.
ð [Initialize axis limits]: This button allows you to initialise the limit switching of
the X, Y and Z axles. Please execute this function only if instructed to do so by
Ersa personnel. The procedure takes a few minutes, and is shown in the display
bar next to the button. Then a message appears. Now power cycle the HR
600/2.
ð [Deactivate "Axis limits switch off"]: Disables the axle shutdown. Do not use!
The motors do not stop, you risk damaging the machine!
