1-2-5 Installing the hard disk unit (option for 26/28 ppm (500-sheet) model only)
<Procedure>
1. Turn off printer power switch.
Caution: Do not insert or remove hard disk
unit while printer power is on.
Doing so may cause damage to the printer
and the hard disk unit.
2. Remove two screws and then remove the
optional interface slot cover.
3. Insert the hard disk unit into the option inter-
face slot. Push it in all the way.
4. Secure the hard disk unit by using two
screws.
