Why are the readings not stable on my KYORITSU KEW 6305 Measuring Instruments?
    • P
      Patty ParsonsJul 31, 2025
Unstable or inaccurate readings can occur for several reasons. Ensure that voltage test leads and clamp sensors are properly connected. Verify that the instrument settings and the selected wiring configuration are appropriate, and that you are using the correct sensors with the correct settings. Check the voltage test leads for any breaks, and confirm that the input signal is not experiencing interference. Also, check for strong electromagnetic fields nearby and ensure the usage environment meets the instrument's specifications.

What to do if I get an error message when powering on my KYORITSU KEW 6305 Measuring Instruments?
    • D
      david21Aug 4, 2025
If you receive an error message upon powering on, first, power off the instrument and then power it on again. If the error message disappears, there is no problem. However, if the same error message reappears, it may indicate damage to the internal circuit. In this case, contact your local Kyoritsu distributor. Also, if the error message (Err.001) is only shown on the RTC item, it means the internal coin battery for backup is exhausted. Contact your local Kyoritsu distributor. Note that the backup battery life is approximately 5 years.
