    • J
      Jennifer RobinsonAug 20, 2025
If you are experiencing issues such as no vacuum or poor vacuum in your Labconco Laboratory Equipment, consider the following: * Ice may have formed on the Cold Trap lid sealing surface. Defrost it and wipe it dry. * The Secondary Trap Cannister might not be fitted properly. Tighten all connections to and from the Secondary Trap Cannister. * The Secondary Trap Insert could be spent. Replace it with a new insert. * A new Secondary Trap may have moisture in it. Run the vacuum pump for 24 hours to remove the moisture.

    • A
      Aaron SnyderAug 27, 2025
If you find that the pump in your Labconco Laboratory Equipment requires frequent oil changes, it could be due to a few reasons: * The Secondary Trap insert may be spent. Change the insert often. * The Cold Trap might not be emptied regularly. Empty the traps (glass or stainless steel) after each run and replace them. * The vacuum might be too strong for a chemical diaphragm pump. Use a Secondary Trap insert and chemical diaphragm pump.
