How to fix an oil seal leaking on my Land Pride Cutter?
    • P
      Phillip MitchellAug 19, 2025
If the oil seal on your Land Pride Cutter is leaking, it could be due to a few reasons. The gearbox might be overfilled, the seals could be damaged, or grass/wire might be wrapped around the shaft in the seal area. To fix this, drain the oil to the correct level using the fill hole or the dipstick's full mark. If the seals are damaged, replace them. Also, regularly clean off any wrapped material from the shaft and check the seal areas daily.

      natalie90Aug 25, 2025
A failing driveline yoke or cross in your Land Pride Cutter can be caused by a frozen clutch, shock load, or insufficient lubrication. To address this, slip the clutches and refer to the “Drivelines With Slip Clutches” section on page 24. Avoid hitting solid objects to reduce shock load. Ensure you lubricate the driveline every 8 hours.

Why do slip clutches slip even with a light load on my Land Pride Cutter?
    • E
      Eric WilliamsAug 26, 2025
If the slip clutches on your Land Pride Cutter are slipping even with a light load, it could be due to scalping the ground, an improperly adjusted clutch, worn-out clutch plates, or a foreign object caught between the clutch plates. Raise the cutting height to prevent scalping. Adjust the clutch, referring to “Drivelines With Slip Clutches” on page 24. Replace the clutch plates if they are worn out. Remove any foreign objects that may be caught between the clutch plates.
