Trouble shooting
If there is a fault despite due care, this chapter may help you to resolve the malfunction.
Malfunction Cause Remedy
There is a smell of gas Leak in the gas system 1. Close the cylinder valve immediately
(turn operating lever (G2) to a 3
o'clock position).
2. Prevent any ame or spark formation
(do not switch on any electrical
appliances)
3. Tighten all connections of the gas
system.
4. Inspect all gas-supplying
components for signs of external
damage; replace any defective parts
with original spare parts
5. Use a leak detection agent to check
the gas system for leaks.
Burner does not light Gas cylinder empty Replace gas cylinder
Cylinder valve is closed Turn the operating lever (G2) to a 6
o'clock position
Ignition battery is at If when the ame regulator knob is
depressed there is no clicking noise to be
heard, it is possible that the battery needs
to be changed (see chapter "Assembly").
Ignition cable without contact Conduct a visual inspection, connect the
ignition cable if necessary
The gas outlet nozzle is not inserted
in the burner
Visual inspection, if necessary adjust the
burner
Ignition pin next to the burner is
bent
Visual inspection; correct if necessary
Gas outlet nozzle is blocked Clean the gas outlet nozzle with a pin
Other gas system is blocked The gas system should be cleaned by a
gas specialist
Temperature on grill too low Pre-heating time is too short Close the lid and set the ame regulator
to Max
Gas outlets on the burner are
blocked
Remove blockage from burner
