- Do not lengthen or shorten the antenna cable, the shielded cables of the ultrasonic
sensors and the electronic socket .
- All electrical connections must be made reliably and securely (by soldering the joints).
- Insulation of splices should be done taking care to not cause short circuits.
Warning for installation
Unit placement
Place the unit behind the dashboard or the glove compartment or under the
passenger seat. The unit should be securely fastened preferably in a position where it
can not be easily reached by unauthorised person and it’s away from sources of heat
and splashing water.The cables should not run close to sources of interference such
as the high voltage coil and ignition cables or metal boxes.
Ultrasonic sensors placement
Attach the two capsules to the sides on top of the front windscreen, and orient them
towards the rear window, keeping them horizontal and parallel to each other and away
from air vents.
LED - receiver placement
Place the receiver / LED in an area of the dashboard that is easily visible while
driving, but also when outside the vehicle. Drill a 10 mm diameter hole for installation.
